A swift response by Cape Town Law Enforcement officers led to the arrest of four armed robbery suspects shortly after they targeted the Telkom store in Sea Point this morning.
Officers were alerted to the robbery in progress. Upon patrolling the area, they identified a vehicle matching the witness descriptions and apprehended the suspects. Two firearms were recovered and all stolen property was retrieved.
Heather Tager, Chief Operating Officer for the Sea Point City Improvement District (CID), praised the officers involved. “Their prompt response and outstanding work in bringing these criminals to book shortly after committing the crime” demonstrates the commitment to maintaining safety in the Sea Point area, Tager said.
The Sea Point CID works to create a safe and welcoming environment along the Main and Regent Roads of the vibrant suburb.
