HERMANUS – Juan Streicher, a Grade 10 student at Hermanus High School, continues to make waves in the karate world. After earning his Black Belt in November 2023, Juan showcased his skills at the Western Province Championships on March 9th, 2024.
Juan’s hard work and dedication paid off, as he secured a Gold Medal for his impressive Kata performance and a Bronze Medal in the competitive Kumite (fighting) division. His achievements didn’t go unnoticed; Juan was also selected to represent his province in the prestigious South African Championships later this year.
Hermanus High School is proud to celebrate Juan’s accomplishments and recognizes his commitment to excellence both within the dojo and in the classroom.
