HOUT BAY – The City of Cape Town’s Electricity Generation and Distribution Department has issued a notice to residents in parts of Hout Bay regarding planned electricity interruptions scheduled for 21 and 28 February 2024. This essential maintenance is aimed at the major Bisschop electricity substation in the area, ensuring the reliability of the electricity supply.
The electricity infrastructure maintenance will take place on:
- Wednesday, 21 February 2024, from 08:00 to 16:00
- Wednesday, 28 February 2024, from 08:00 to 16:00
City teams will be conducting crucial maintenance work on the critical power infrastructure, and this undertaking is vital to guarantee a consistent and dependable electricity supply for residents in the affected area. The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused during this period.
