CAPE TOWN – In a sombre turn of events, the Sea Point Police are urgently seeking the public’s help to locate the family of Samantha Campher, a woman whose lifeless body was discovered in Granger Bay on 30 December 2023. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, prompting authorities to launch an inquest to determine the cause.

Samantha Campher was admitted to a local hospital on 18 December 2023 but reportedly discharged herself. The details of her departure from the hospital and the events leading to her tragic demise in Granger Bay are currently under investigation by Sea Point detectives.
Detective Warrant Officer Gerhardus Martins, the lead investigator on the case, issued a public plea for information that could lead to the identification and contact with Samantha’s family. The authorities have released a photograph of the deceased in the hope that someone will come forward with vital information.
